Lovable to production

Works in preview? Make it hold up in production.

Taking a Lovable app to production means locking down the database, moving secret keys out of the browser, fixing the auth edge cases and deploying it properly. We do that on your existing code at a fixed price, from $500, and you keep building in Lovable.

Fixed price from $500. Most projects take 5 to 7 days.

  • Fixed price, agreed first
  • Lovable keeps working
  • Everything in your name

What breaks between preview and real users

01

Data any signed-in user can read

Row level security switched off, or a policy of USING (true) that shows as enabled while every row stays public. In preview you are the only user, so nobody notices.

02

Secret keys in the browser

Stripe secret keys, OpenAI keys or the service role key bundled into the frontend, where anyone can copy them from dev tools.

03

Auth that only works for you

Google sign-ins with no profile row, password reset links that open the preview URL, and confirmation emails stuck behind Supabase's default sender limit of a few emails an hour.

04

No way to know it broke

No error tracking, no backups you control, and every change going straight to live users. The first bug report comes from a customer.

What you get

What production-ready means here

  • A written code audit first: what is fine, what is risky, and the fixed price to fix it
  • Supabase set up properly: RLS on every table, policies tested with real user roles
  • Secret keys moved into edge functions, and rotated where they had leaked
  • Auth that works for every sign-in method, with redirects and emails on your own domain
  • Deployment on your domain with SSL, plus a go-live checklist for monitoring and backups
  • Full Production adds a TypeScript cleanup, security hardening, performance work and API integration

Fixed price, agreed after a free call. No hourly surprises.

How it goes

  1. 01

    Free call

Show us the app and tell us who will use it. Fifteen minutes is usually enough to see where it stands.

  2. 02

    Code audit

We read the code and the database and send a written list of what to fix, with a fixed price.

  3. 03

    Hardening

We work in your GitHub repo, so Lovable keeps syncing. Most projects take 5 to 7 days.

  4. 04

    Go live

We deploy, test the real user flows with you and hand over a short runbook.

“Lovable 2 Live has a real focus on quality. They're the team we trust on Klick.now when something has to work in production, and they're always straight with us about what's worth building and what isn't. Easy recommendation.”

Questions

Asked before every call

How much does it cost to take a Lovable app to production?

With us, from $500 for an MVP launch (code audit, Supabase setup, auth and deployment) and from $2,500 for full production work (TypeScript refactor, security hardening, performance and API integration). The final fixed price comes after we read your code, because two apps with the same features can be very different underneath.

How long does it take?

Most projects take 5 to 7 days, depending on the state of the code. You get the timeline together with the fixed price after the audit.

What does production-ready mean for a Lovable app?

At minimum: row level security on every table, no secret keys in the browser, auth that works for every sign-in method, deploys to your own domain, and a way to find out when something breaks. Lovable gets you a working app quickly. These are the parts it usually leaves for later.

Do I have to stop using Lovable?

No. We commit through your GitHub repo, so Lovable syncs our changes and you can keep prompting. If you later want to leave Lovable entirely, that is a separate move we also do.

My app runs on Lovable Cloud. Is that a problem?

Not for most production work. Cloud gives nobody a direct database connection or the service role key, so a few jobs are slower there. If Cloud becomes the blocker, we move the backend to your own Supabase project, from $150, usually in 1 to 2 days.

Will you rebuild my app from scratch?

Almost never. A rewrite throws away what already works and costs far more. We keep your code, fix what is risky and refactor only the parts that get in the way.

at your app.
