Your own server

Move your Lovable app to your own server.

We move your Lovable app to a server you own: Coolify deploys it from your GitHub, a self-hosted Supabase runs next to it, and you can keep editing in Lovable. $500 setup, plus the database move ($150, $350 or $600 by table count) if the app is on Lovable Cloud; the server itself costs about $12 to $41 a month (prices from October 2026).

Server setup $500. On Lovable Cloud? Add the database move from $150.

  • Fixed price, agreed first
  • Lovable keeps working
  • Everything in your name

What changed in 2026

01

New Lovable apps need a real server

Lovable projects created from May 13, 2026 are TanStack Start apps with server-side rendering and server functions. Uploading a dist folder to a static host no longer works for them; something has to run the server part. Coolify does.

02

The backend only moves to Supabase

Lovable's docs name two supported destinations for the built-in backend (Cloud): managed Supabase and self-hosted Supabase. Moving the Postgres database alone leaves auth, storage, realtime and edge functions behind.

03

Run credits for hosting

Since June 2026 hosting and Cloud usage come out of the same Lovable credits as building. One server with everything on it is a fixed monthly cost instead.

04

Access you do not have on Cloud

No Supabase dashboard, no service role key, no direct database URL. On your own server you have all of it, and so does any developer you hire.

Server setup

App already on its own Supabase

$500

  • Coolify on your server
  • Git-push deploys, SSL, previews
  • Self-hosted Supabase and backups
  • Domain and redirects switched
  • Written runbook

Server + Cloud move

App on Lovable Cloud

$650 to $1,100

  • Everything in Server setup
  • Database move: $150 (1-5 tables), $350 (6-15), $600 (16+)
  • Auth users, storage, edge functions and secrets
  • Sign-in tested before the switch

Prices from October 2026, the same as the server route in our free Lovable cost check. The server is billed by its provider to you, not by us. Lovable cannot manage a self-hosted database, so schema changes after the move are made by a developer instead of the Lovable chat.

What you get

What the $500 setup includes

  • One server in your own account (about $12 to $41 a month for 8 GB, depending on provider and region)
  • Coolify installed, connected to your GitHub repo: every push deploys, with SSL and a preview link per change
  • Your app built the right way for its stack (TanStack Start server or Vite static build, with the refresh-404 fix)
  • A self-hosted Supabase on the same server, with backups switched on
  • On Lovable Cloud: the database, auth users, storage files, edge functions and secrets moved first (the Cloud to Supabase service, priced by table count)
  • Your domain, auth redirect URLs and emails switched over, and a written runbook

Fixed price, agreed after a free call. No hourly surprises.

How it goes

  1. 01

    Free call

We check which stack your project uses and whether it is on Lovable Cloud, and confirm the fixed price.

  2. 02

    Server

You create the server account, we set up Coolify and Supabase on it.

  3. 03

    Move

We deploy the app next to the live one, move the data if needed and test sign-in, uploads and payments.

  4. 04

    Switch

We point your domain at the server once it checks out. You own every account and key.

“Lovable 2 Live has a real focus on quality. They're the team we trust on Klick.now when something has to work in production, and they're always straight with us about what's worth building and what isn't. Easy recommendation.”

Questions

Asked before every call

Who can help me move my Lovable app to my own server?

We do it as a fixed-price job: $500 to set up your own server with Coolify and a self-hosted Supabase, plus the database move ($150 to $600 by table count) if the app is on Lovable Cloud. You own the server, the code and every key.

Can I self-host a Lovable app?

Yes. Lovable's own docs say you can export your code and run it on your own infrastructure, with self-hosted Supabase as a supported destination for the backend. Projects created from May 13, 2026 are TanStack Start apps and need a host that runs their server part; older ones are static Vite builds.

Can I keep editing in Lovable after the move?

Yes. Lovable keeps two-way sync with your GitHub repo, and Coolify deploys every push. Only database schema changes need a developer, because Lovable cannot manage a self-hosted Supabase.

How much does the server cost per month?

About $12 to $41 a month for an 8 GB server that runs Coolify, your app and Supabase (Hetzner prices after their June 2026 increase). Prices vary by provider and region.

Is this the same as moving off Lovable completely?

No. Here you keep Lovable for building. If you want to stop paying Lovable entirely, see Move Off Lovable, which adds an AI builder on your own API keys.
