Lovable Promo Code and Student Discount

There is no public Lovable promo code. Lovable’s pricing page doesn’t list one when I checked on October 31, 2026, and the only discount it mentions is the student one: up to 50% off Pro for up to 12 months, claimed at lovable.dev/students with a school email. That takes Pro from $25 to $12.50 a month.

Everything else you’ll find for “lovable promo code” is a coupon aggregator. Some of them are hosted on lovable.app, which is just the domain every published Lovable project gets, so a page there saying “verified for 2026” is somebody’s project, not Lovable talking.

The student discount, read properly

The headline says “up to 50% off Pro”. The fine print on the students page is narrower, and two lines in it catch people out.

The 50% is for the Pro plan with 100 credits a month, billed monthly. If you pick a bigger credit tier, you don’t get half off that, you get $12.50 a month taken off whatever it costs. So a student on a larger Pro tier pays the normal price minus $12.50, which is a much smaller cut.

“This discount is only valid for users on the free plan.” If you already pay for Pro, you can’t switch the discount on afterwards. One founder I talked to had upgraded a week before term started, on her personal account, and found out the hard way. The fix is boring: claim it before you ever pay.

Cancel and it’s gone. The page says that if you cancel the subscription you lose the discount and can’t reactivate it later. So don’t cancel to “pause” over a summer. Drop to the free plan only if you’re sure you’re done.

The rest:

Verification is a school email plus confirming you’re enrolled. Gmail and other personal addresses can’t be verified. No card needed to verify.
If your school email gets rejected, there’s a “Why did this happen?” link and then “Request review”. Use it before you give up, plenty of smaller colleges use domains the checker doesn’t know.
Teachers are welcome too, per the same page.
It lasts up to 12 months.

Students in Sweden get more

There’s a separate back-to-school offer whose terms give students at Swedish universities, högskolor and folkhögskolor Lovable Pro at no cost from September 1 to December 31, 2026, claimed through lovable.dev/bts-sweden-2026 with the school address as the account email. From January 1, 2027 it rolls into the normal 50% student price if there’s a card on file. It covers the Pro subscription only, not top-ups, and it can’t be stacked with other Lovable offers on the same workspace. Lovable’s main home is Stockholm, so that one makes sense. Nobody else gets it.

What the free plan already gives you

Before hunting for a code, count what you get for $0. The pricing page says the free plan has 5 build credits a day, capped at 30 a month, plus 20 Cloud credits a month for the hosting side. That’s about six days of real building a month. Paid plans also get the daily credits, without the 30 cap.

Two credit rules matter more than any coupon. Monthly plan credits expire two months after they’re issued. Top-up credits last 12 months. And no credit is refundable or redeemable for cash. So buying a big top-up “while it’s cheap” is only a deal if you’ll actually use it inside a year.

Where the real money goes

Here’s my honest take after looking at a lot of Lovable bills: a 50% discount on a $25 plan saves $12.50. That’s real money for a student. For a founder with a live app it’s rounding.

The bill that grows is the app itself. Since Lovable moved to one credit balance in June 2026, your running app spends credits too, through Lovable Cloud. We had one founder on Pro paying for three top-ups a month, and only about a third of that was prompting. The rest was the live app’s database and functions eating Cloud credits around the clock. No promo code fixes that.

What does:

Set a usage limit and an alert per project, so one busy week doesn’t drain the balance the live app needs.
Stop prompting in circles on one bug. Ten “fix it” prompts on the same error cost more than an hour of a developer’s time.
